SIZE - 14 inches. Work tightly for best results.

Repeat from * to *. 6th rnd: Sl st in next 8 sc, * sc in next sc, ch 15, sc in 5th sc to left of next p, ch 15, (tr, ch 2, tr) in center sc on bar between petals, ch 15, sk 8 sc on next petal. Repeat from * around, end with ch 7, tr tr in 1st sc.
7th rnd: Sc in lp thus formed, * (ch 15, sc in next lp) twice, (ch 3, dtr) 4 times in ch-2 sp between next 2 tr, ch 3, sc in next lp. Repeat from * around, join to 1st sc.
8th rnd: Sl st in 1st 7 sts of next lp, sc in center, * ch 15, sc in next lp, (ch 3, dtr in next ch-3 sp, ch 3, dtr in next dtr) 4 times, ch 3, dtr in next sp, ch 3, sc in next lp. Repeat from * around, join to 1st sc.
9th rnd: Repeat Rnd 8 to *. * (Ch 5, holding back the last lp of each dtr on hook, make 3 dtr in next dtr, Y 0 and draw thru all 4 lps on hook for a Cluster) 9 times, ch 5, sc in next lp. Repeat from * around, join to 1st sc.
10th rnd: Ch 3, (2 dc in next sp) made into a Cluster, * 3 dc in same sp, dc in Cluster, (5 dc in next sp, dc in Cluster) 8 times, 3 dc in next sp, ** (2 dc in same sp, dc in sc, 2 dc in next sp) made into a tight Cluster in angle. Repeat from * around, end at **. Holding last lp on hook make 2 dc in same sp, insert hook in 1st Cluster, Y 0 and draw thru Cluster and all lps on hook.
11th rnd: Ch 9, * sk 7 dc, dc in next dc, (ch 15, sk 7 dc, dc in next dc) 5 times, ch 4, sk 7 dc, tr in next st (Cluster) in angle, ch 4. Repeat from * around, join to 5th st of ch-9.
12th rnd: Sl st in next 2 ch sts, ch 3, * dc in 3d ch on next lp, (ch 2, sk 1 ch, tr in next ch) twice, (ch 2, tr in next ch) twice, ch 2, sk 1 ch, tr in next ch, ch 1, sk 1 ch, dc in next ch. Repeat from * 4 times. Dc in 3d ch on next sp, ch 2, dc in 2d ch on next sp. Repeat from * around. Join final ch-2 to top of 1st ch-3.
13th rnd: * (3 sc in next 6 ch-2 sps, sk 2 dc) 5 times, 2 sc in next sp in angle, sk 2 dc. Repeat from * around.
14th rnd: Sc in 1st 9 sc, * ch 14, turn, sl st in last sc, ch 1, turn, in ring make 1 sc, 1 hdc, 11 dc, a ch-4 p, 11 dc, 1 hdc and 1 sc. ** Sc in next 8 sc, sk 2 sc in angle (one on each side), sc in next 8 sc. (Make a ring repeating from * to **, sc in next 8 sc, sk 2 sc in angle, sc in next 8 sc) 3 times. Make a ring, then sc in next 9 sc, sk 2 sc in angle, sc in next 9 sc. Make a ring as far as 1 sc, 1 hdc and 6 dc on 1st side, ch 2, sl st across in 8th st up side of previous ring, ch 2, sl st back in last dc, complete ring with 5 dc, p, 11 dc, 1 hdc and 1 sc. Repeat from ** around, join and fasten off. Attach to 1st ring and make joining of it to last ring. Fasten off.
EDGE: Attach to 4th dc to left of p on center ring on one scallop, ch 7, dtr in 4th dc to right of p on next ring, ch 23, dtr in 4th dc to left of same p, * dtr to right of p on next ring, ch 15, tr in ch-2 joining be-tween next 2 rings, ch 15, dtr in 4th dc to left of next p, (dtr in 4th dc to right of p on next ring, ch 23, dtr in 4th dc left of same p) 3 times. Repeat from * around. Join final ch-23 to top of 1st ch-7.
2nd rnd: In each ch-23 lp make 8 sc, ch 10, sl st in last sc for a p, (5 sc, ch-10 p) twice and 8 sc. In each ch-15 lp make 9 sc, ch-10 p and 9 sc. Join and fasten off.
Stretch and pin doily right-side-down in a true circle. Steam and press dry thru a doubled cloth.
