Written by I designed this many years ago, and I still absolutely love this flower. It’s made as one piece -the center is crocheted first, and then the petals are worked around it. It’s definitely harder to make than it looks!

I’m perfectly happy with the original pattern as it is, but I think black eyed susans and forget-me-nots would look so much prettier in it. I actually designed those flowers as well, so I’m going to give them a try.
