Forget Me Not Doily

MATERIALS:
Size #10 crochet cotton any brand, any color. The pattern calls for blue however you could use pinks, reds, purples, yellows anything you want. If you use the size 10 crochet cotton your doily will measure around 14 inches in diameter with a size 10 hook.
1st Row:With White ch 8, join to form a ring, ch 1 and work 12 sc in ring, join.
2nd Row: Ch 5, dc in next sc, * ch 2, dc in next sc, repeat from * all around, ch 2, join in 3rd st of ch.
3rd Row: Ch 1 and work 3 sc over each loop, join.
4th Row: * Ch 6, sc in space over the dc of previous row, repeat from * all around ending row with ch 3, trc in same space as beginning (this brings thread in position for next row).
5th Row: * Ch 6, sc in next loop, repeat from * all around.
6th Row: Sl st into loop, ch 1 and work 3 sc in same space, * ch 6, 3 sc in next loop, repeat from * all around, ending row with ch 2, dtrc in the sl st.
7th Row: Ch 3, 2 dc in same loop, * ch 3, skip 1 sc, dc in next sc, ch 3, 3 dc in next loop, repeat from * all around ending row with ch 3, skip 1 sc, dc in next sc, ch 3, join.
8th Row: Ch 3, dc in same space, 1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, * ch 3, dc in next single dc, ch 3, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, repeat from * all around ending row with ch 3, dc in next single dc, ch 3, join.
9th and 10th Rows: Same as last row but having 2 more dc in each solid section of each row.
11th Row: Sl st to next dc, ch 3, 1 dc in each of the next 6 dc, * ch 3, dc in next loop, ch 3, dc in next loop, ch 3, 1 dc in each of the center 7 dc of next dc group, repeat from * all around ending row with ch 3, dc in next loop, ch 3, dc in next loop, ch 3, join.
12th Row: Sl st to next dc, ch 3, 1 dc in each of the next 4 dc, * ch 3, dc in next loop, ch 3, dc in next loop, ch 3, dc in next loop, ch 3, 1 dc in each of the center 5 dc of next dc group, repeat from * all around ending row to correspond, ch 3, join.
13th Row: Sl st to next dc, ch 3, 1 dc in each of the next 2 dc, * ch 3, dc in next loop, ch 3, dc in next loop, ch 3, dc in next loop, ch 3, dc in next loop, ch 3, 1 dc in each of the 3 center dc of next dc group, repeat from * all around ending row to correspond, ch 3, join.
14th Row: Sl st to next dc, ch 6, dc in next loop, * ch 3, dc in next loop, repeat from * 3 times, ** ch 3, dc in center dc of next dc group, * ch 3, dc in next loop, repeat from * 4 times, repeat from ** all around ending row to correspond, ch 3, join in 3rd st of ch.
15th Row: Ch 1 and work 4 sc over each loop, join.
16th Row: * Ch 6, sc in space over the next dc of previous row, repeat from * all around ending row with ch 3, dc in same space as beginning.
17th Row: * Ch 6, sc in next loop, repeat from * all around ending row with ch 3, dc in dc.
18th Row: Same as last row but ending row with ch 6, sc in dc.
19th Row: Ch 1 and work 5 sc over each loop, join, break thread.
Flower: With Yellow, ch 6, join to form a ring, * ch 4, sc in ring, repeat from * 5 times (6 loops), break Yellow. Attach Shaded Blues in loop, ch 3, 2 dc in same loop, ch 1 and with wrong side of doily toward you, sl st in center st of any scallop of doily, ch 1, turn, sl st in same dc of flower, 1 dc in same loop of flower, ch 4, sl st in same loop of flower, sl st in next loop of center of flower, ch 4, 2 dc in same space, ch 1, sl st in center st of next scallop of doily, ch 1, turn, sl st in top of same dc of flower, 1 dc in same loop of flower, ch 4, sl st in same loop of flower, * sl st in next loop of center of flower, ch 4, 3 dc in same space, ch 4, sl st in same space, repeat from * 3 times, join (6 petals), break Blue. Work a 2nd flower joining side petal to side petal of 1st flower, skip 1 scallop on doily and join next 2 petals to next 2 scallops of doily. Work 22 more flowers in same manner joining same as previous flowers and having 2 petals free on top of each flower joining last flower to 1st flower at side petal.
2nd Row of Flowers: Work center same as 1st row of flowers. Attach Shaded Blues in loop, ch 4, 3 tr c in same space, ch 4, sl st in same space, sl st in next loop of center, ch 4, 2 tr c in same space, ch 1 and with wrong side of doily toward you, sl st in 2nd free petal of any flower, ch 1, turn, sl st in top of trc just made, trc in same loop of center, ch 4, sl st in same space, sl st in next loop, ch 4, 2 tr c in same loop, ch 1, sl st in 1st free petal of next flower, ch 1, turn, sl st in top of trc just made, trc in same loop of center, ch 4, sl st in same space, then complete remaining 3 petals same as other flowers.
2nd Flower: Work center same as 1st flower. Attach Shaded Blues in loop, ch 4, 2 tr c in same space, ch 3, sl st in center st of side petal of previous flower, ch 3, turn, sl st in top of trc just made, trc in same space, ch 4, sl st in same space, sl st in next loop of center and join next 2 petals to previous row of flowers same as 1st flower, then complete remaining petals of flower same as 1st flower. Work 22 more flowers and join same as 2nd flower joining the side petal of last flower made to side petal of 1st flower.
