It will help you in the future as you get better at understanding the structure of your item. You will begin to see how it all comes together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I did not get where I am today as a doily maker by following written directions alone. Learning symbol crochet is what has greatly increased my understanding of how a pattern is constructed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is very easy to learn. I think of the stitches just as I would naturally think of them in a written pattern.
