I’ve been busy working on the website and trying to change the look a little. I’m trying to get away from the polaroid look for the images and use the basic Bootstrap 5.3 cards instead. AI does most of the designing for me. I just tell it what I’m looking for, and it’s actually pretty good at coming up with it. I know this is a little off subject, but it’s still related to my free crochet pattern website. I do plan to put at least a few new patterns up each week. I’ve had a website for a long time. My first one was CrochetBox.com. That domain is actually for sale now for $7,195.00 which is a pretty steep price. I really did like that name, though. I still do. DoilyBox.com is probably more suited to what I’m doing since most of my patterns are thread crochet. I do have a few afghan patterns, but other than that, it’s mostly crochet thread patterns. Maybe someday I’ll get into more vintage crochet yarn patterns, too. Sometimes I wonder if I should have just kept CrochetBox.com. I started uploading patterns on October 7th 2003. That seems a lifetime ago.
